World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade to an item is an enchantment that increases the base stats of certain armor or weapons. This includes secondary stats like Leech and Speed.

Leveling
The upgrade system lets players enhance items by increasing their level. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also improved by the increase in level. Every level increase increases the stats of the item by +1 and adds an extra bonus based on the level of the item. These bonuses range from +3 bonus, to a +1 bonus, to a random buff.
Each item can be upgraded a limited amount of times. After the upgrade, the item can still be upgraded to a better-quality product of equal or greater value.
This system is extremely useful for players who wish to acquire equipment that has a certain amount of stats prior to having the opportunity to obtain an item that is new. The transfer system is very easy to use and allows players to avoid wasting upgrading materials.
Upgrade materials are gathered as a player clears content and are used to improve or replace an item. Every item requires a distinct kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, the materials are renamed. For example, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.

This will help you to have a strong team at the time you get to your level 9 upgrade goal.
Rerolling is a system that is similar to that of the leveling up system. Reroll tokens can be used to take away any Level Up option and replace it with a different one. Reroll tokens, unlike Level Up do not reset the item's level. This means that when you reroll an upgraded item, it won't be at the same level and will not have its bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players can utilize a unique mechanic called Eliminate to delete any one Level Up option from their weapons or equipment. This is a great option if you get a bad gacha result or want to reroll a five-star unit. You'll need to create an account from scratch or sign in via social media.

Sets
A set is a collection of things that share some similarity. Sets are utilized every day. For instance dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are useful for organizing things and using operations such as intersection, union and difference to manage them efficiently. Sets can be utilized in various ways, such as organizing music on a list of play lists or dividing students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game uses Sets to give special effects when players are wearing pieces from a specific armor set. These bonuses, known as Set Bonuses, are comparable to and sometimes even better than Effects. Although it's not clear in the universe why armor sets must be worn together to create these effects, they provide a nice change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets that come with Set Bonuses can be found many locations in Hyrule including the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Every piece of equipment in a Set includes a set of Set Bonuses associated with it. You can determine the ones you are looking for by hovering over the item and looking at the tooltip at the bottom. The Set Bonuses will appear in an orange box.
Certain of these set bonuses are only available for certain equipment. If you purchase the entire Phantom Armor set, you will receive +8 defense (instead of the 3 defense that you receive with the majority of equipment). Some sets are only available by completing certain tasks, or by purchasing them at the Auction House.
It is also possible to acquire Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment at the same time. If you have the entire Kestra's Descent Set, and the matching pieces of Twinblade of Shadow, you will be able to get the + version of the set's bonus if you soul match them.
Set Bonuses remain the same, regardless of the equipment to which they are attached is upgraded. If an item is exemplarized to levels that are too low the set bonus will cease working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that can be found on a set of equipment which can provide a boost in battle. Currently, only a few gear sets come with set bonuses, and they are only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to increase once the update goes live. For example, the incredibly popular 7 school-specific Dragoon's gear will be getting its bonus added as soon as the update is live.
While Set Bonuses don't stack within the same set, they can stack between sets. This is ideal for players that want to use the most optimal combination of sets. It does require some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item of equipment, therefore you must be cautious when putting them in.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that the strength of a set's bonus will not change if you exemplar more than three levels below the minimum levels that are allowed for an Enhancement of that type. Purple (Very Rare) Sets, PvP sets and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this rule and their set bonuses are in effect regardless of the degree of exemplars for an item.
